Kaitlyn “Kat” Geesaman grew up in the country setting of Pennsylvania, spending most of her childhood in the outdoors. During the winter months, her family would travel to the west coast of Florida, thus birthing her appreciation for sea life and sunshine. Her curiosity for the diversity of habitats led to a passion for travel and adventure. As a young adult, she spent time in Australia and various locations of the Caribbean learning about the culture, community and wildlife.
Her faith and love of humanity led to involvement in organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and many small nonprofits working on developing sustainable solutions for communities within the US and Haiti.
